Bollywood star Raveena Tandon recently found herself in a bit of hot water after an incident in London left her fans disappointed. The actress abruptly left a group of fans without taking selfies, prompting her to take to social media to express her regret.
In her heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), Raveena shed light on the reasons behind her sudden reaction. She recounted a distressing experience from a few months ago in Bandra, Mumbai, where she was falsely accused of being drunk and involved in a car accident. Although the Mumbai police later cleared her name, the event left her feeling shaken and anxious.
Hi , this is just to put on record . That a few days ago in london , I was walking by and a few men approached me , I anyway have heard not such great things about the crime situation here, so I withdrew a bit when they asked if I was who I am, and my first instinct was to say no…

Raveena shared, “A few days ago in London, I was walking when some men approached me. Given the concerns I had heard about crime in the area, I instinctively felt the need to withdraw. When they asked if I was who I am, I panicked and said no, wanting to move away quickly, especially since I was alone.” She explained that while she usually enjoys engaging with fans and taking pictures, the recent traumatic experience made her more apprehensive when alone.
Recognizing her misstep, Raveena expressed her regret for not accommodating the fans, admitting, “I should’ve probably given them a photo as maybe they were innocent fans, but I panicked and walked away fast. I asked a security guard for help, and afterward, I felt really bad about it.” She extended her sincerest apologies to those fans, hoping they would understand her reaction was not intended to offend.
Raveena added a hopeful note, wishing for another opportunity to meet the fans she had left behind. “I try my best to be accessible and normal, but sometimes I fail,” she admitted, promising to do better in the future. “I hope I can meet you again and take that picture, maybe. I really shouldn’t have panicked.”
Earlier this year, Raveena also faced a challenging situation involving her driver in Mumbai.
